At Synergy CAM, we believe that the future of development depends on our role as stewards of the planet. We have officially consolidated the roadmap from our first virtual session with renowned biologist Inti Hughes, defining the strategic insights that will guide our organization’s next steps.

With 22 committed leaders and citizens joining the conversation, here are the core results:

1. The Weight of 6%: Our Global Responsibility

As a core pillar of Synergy CAM’s mission, we addressed our unique position: holding 6% of the world’s biodiversity on just 0.02% of the land. The conclusion is clear—Costa Rica is the "biological filter" of the Americas, and our management must reflect this global commitment.

2. Reclaiming Our Cultural DNA

A major takeaway was the need to reconnect with our pre-Columbian roots. Synergy CAM advocates for shifting the modern economic perspective to recognize the forest once again as our historical "pharmacy, supermarket, and hardware store."

3. Toward Experiential Education

The consensus was unanimous: theory is no longer enough. Synergy CAM is pushing for "hands-on" learning to be integrated into the national curriculum, closing the gap between citizens and their natural wealth through direct field experience.

4. Economic Sustainability: Growth Without "Mortgaging Life"

We explored business models that prove economic viability and social purpose are not mutually exclusive. For the next generation of professionals, Synergy CAM is committed to building paths that allow for growth without sacrificing our ecosystems.
